HWB makes another key appointment

Southampton business advisory firm HWB has appointed another corporate finance specialist as part of the expansion of its team.

Tanya Dowthwaite has joined the leading firm bringing more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance. In that time she has undertaken many corporate finance assignments and specialises in transaction support.
Tanya has been involved in many assignments including the merger of Matra Espace and Marconi Space Systems as well as advising Siemens on its acquisition of Westing House Hawker Siddeley.

HWB director Richard Hurst said: “We are extremely pleased to have someone of Tanya’s calibre on-board. Her experience of due diligence and pre-lending reviews is particularly strong and will be of enormous benefit to us as we expand the department.”

HWB is a 60-strong team and is one of the largest independent practices in the region working primarily with clients in the SME sector including construction, healthcare, leisure and the professional service industry.
